(T/N): this chapter title is a little bit weird, it can mean routine, a series of tricks and skills in martial arts, and a method/way of doing something, I chose method since this chapter is sort of about the method that Wu SheYue used to annul the engagement.
The onlookers started to laugh. XinZhi, hearing people laughing, then believes that his words resonate with the people, feels triumphant and raises his head up.
(T/N): Lol, I thought 辛止 was a word so I was breaking my head trying to figure out what it meant because I couldn’t find the phrase in the dictionary but then I looked at the raw manga and realized it was 8th Prince’s name. Sorry dude.

NingEr hearing this was angry that her whole face was red, actually dare to tell her Third Miss to marry a family servant, this is bullying people too much!
Wu SheYue narrows her eyes, first let you laugh for a while, let’s first resolve this Third Miss’s rotten reputation then talk. “8th Prince said annul the engagement then annul it but don’t know if annulling this engagement requires any formalities.”
Formalities? XinZhi stares blankly for a moment, then drags over a page boy to ask, “Where’s the betrothal letter?” Before, Prime Minister’s Old Madam was not willing to annul the engagement. Today, he did not think that he would be able to annul this engagement without a hitch, did not bring forward the betrothal letter.
The page boy quickly fishes out a letter out from his clothes. NingEr seeing that a page boy was allowed to keep her Miss’s betrothal letter almost wants to cry out loud. Although Wu SheYue doesn’t really understand these rules but seeing NingEr like this, she knows that this matter is not over.

“Yes, there won’t even be a little bit of entanglement between us~” XinZhi even purposefully emphasizes it one more time. “If there is anyone that says there is a relationship between the two of us the this prince will cut off his tongue!”
Wu SheYue nods her head. “NingEr, go take it back.”
The common people on the side whisper, “Isn’t it said that not only is Prime Minister Manor’s Third guniang ugly, she’s also an idiot. However, look at her talk clearly and logically.”

Jin momo did not have time to give other people a lesson. With a smile, she moves jerkily and unevenly as she goes down the steps. “8th Prince, if we want to say something then let’s slowly discuss it.”
XinZhi waves his hand. “This princes’s betrothal letter is still in the hands of Eldest Miss but Third Miss’s betrothal letter is not with me so we do have to slowly discuss this issue. To Eldest Miss, this prince is ——”
He had not finished speaking when he saw Wu SheYue who is behind Jin momo put down the sleeve that was blocking her face to reach out her hand to ask for the thing in NingEr’s hand. Just one look, XinZhi stares blankly as if having lost his soul.
The surrounding crowd is also in uproar. QiNan City has three famous beauties and ugly people, Prime Minister Manor’s Third Miss is number one amongst the three ugly people. Before, the people who have actually met her were not few so the truth about Wu SheYue being ugly and an idiot had already been confirmed. Jin momo seeing that XinZhi’s expression is not correct, turns her around and after seeing Wu SheYue almost died.
Wu SheYue take the betrothal and says in her heart, after annulling this engagement, she can be at ease, next is to settle this life account. She lifts her eyes and sees that XinZhi has already pushed Jin momo to the side and taken big steps forward. He points towards her nose with alarm says. “What happened to you! Didn’t you have a birthmark!” XinZhi is sure that this is the Wu SheYue he had met, how is it that after the birthmark is removed, she became this beautiful?
However, Wu SheYue only answers with four words. “It’s none of your business.”

If it was in the past, XinZhi would’ve already called people to raise their hand to strike but when he is faced with attractive women, he always has a good temper. XinZhi thinks about something, with a tone of blame says. “Third Miss, why didn’t you speak up earlier about your birthmark being gone, why did this prince go through great pains to come and annul the engagement. Anyhow, although the person herself is an idiot but this prince can still consider making do with…….”
“What does you making do with have anything to do with me?” Wu SheYue crosses her arms and laughs. “Didn’t 8th prince come to annul the engagement, why is that you bring up making do with, has 8th prince come intending to discuss making do with my eldest sister~”
“You——” The surrounding bursts into laughter. XinZhi feels his face has become red and hot, becoming shamed into anger and is about to strike.
Jin momo doesn’t have time to look into why Wu SheYue is like this today, she only knows that right now in front of everybody, this engagement can not be annulled.
Thinking of this, she immediately pushes away the two maid servants that were supporting her and hops her way to them. She pulls XinZhi to a stop and raises her head to hurriedly say. “8th Prince, didn’t you dislike Third Miss because she was ugly. Third Miss’s birthmark is now gone, you see this engagement is…….”
XinZhi with indignation humphs. “Alright, this prince will not look into you speaking rudely!”
“Jin momo lets out a sigh of relief, but when she turns around to face Wu SheYe she coaxes her. “Third Miss, let’s talk properly, quickly return the betrothal letter.” She looks at the crowd on the side and adds a sentence. “This is the 8th prince that you keep thinking about!”
