Sorry guys I’ve had a lot of homework these past 2 months that I have not been to find time to translate so this chapter came out way later than I had planned it to be. This month, January, I have midyears to study for and the last one is on the week of Jan 21 and then I have a day off which I plan to use most of the day to translate but it’s not guaranteed since something might crop up. Schedule of releases is going to random. I plan on releasing chapter 7 either later today or some time the day after today. Well, enjoy chapter 6~
Chapter 6 First Attempt of the Butcher’s Knife
From Wu JingHua’s mouth comes a wuwu sound, little by little losing her breath but unable to push Wu SheYue away. Wu JingHua refuses to give in for half a day but eventually swallows it. Wu SheYue feeling that throat moved, loosens her hand. Wu JingHua immediately falls to the ground, violently vomiting.
Wu SheYue looks at the plate, only 3 flies left, if all of them are fed to her, this mourning hall will smell even worse…….
Wu JingHua crus while vomiting and Wu SheYue is on the side definitely waiting for her to finish vomiting. After half a day, Wu JingHua manages to stop herself. The rogue on her lip has a ready been smeared off. She turns her on hysterically pointing at Wu SheYue’s nose to angrily yell, “ You! You actually dare——”
Wu SheYue . “ put on face of innocence. “What did I do, Second jiejie sent over delicious food, I only wanted Second jiejie to eat it with me~”
I – 人家. So 人家 can mean other people but it can also mean I. In this case, it would be I.
“That is a fly! Can’t even tell the difference between a fly and food, you idiot! Serves you right that in this lifetime you eat insects! You and Yin QiuMing deserve to die——” Wu JingHua becomes flustered and exasperated by the flies, jumping around letting loose becomes flustered and exasperated by the flies, jumping around letting loose a torrent of abuse. “You, you wait……. you dare to treat me this way, grandmother won’t let you get away with this! You’re done for!”
“Second jiejie where are you going?” Wu SheYue blocks her path. “Second jiejie often sends over delicious food, I’m grateful. I invite Second jiejie to eat it with me.”
She suddenly sees that Wu SheYue has the chopsticks in hand and, don’t know when, had grabbed another fly with it. Wu JingHua, with a rush, take a step back and with a face of disgust angrily yells, “Scram! You ugly person! Idiot!!! You are not allowed to touch me!”
Wu SheYue suddenly stands up to walk close and lifts a leg to step between Wu JingHua’s feet. Wu JingHua seeing that Wu SheYue is coming closer, fearfully takes a step back and as a result stumbles to the ground. Her head knocks heavily against the edge of the coffin, hurting to the point where she says ouch.
Wu SheYue bends her body, her left hand’s fingertips rapidly heading towards Wu JingHua’s throat, and as a result Wu JingHua started retching, and giving a cry, Wu SheYue put the second fly into Wu JingHua’s mouth.
Wu Jing Hua ate two flies in a row and immediately turns her body, bending over the ground. While retching she crawled to the side, her light-colored clothes covered in ash. Wu SheYue, using strength, stomps on Wu JingHua’s back, throws away the chopsticks and smoothly grabs the plate beside the coffin that is emitting a spoiled odor. “Second jiejie, no need to hurry, all of this is yours. You have to eat it slowly and eat it all up~”
Using up one hour’s time, Wu SheYue finished feeding everything to Wu JingHua. No matter how much Wu JingHua vomits during the entire process, Wu SheYue did not become soft-hearted.
When Wu JingHua finally leaves Western Courtyard’s mourning hall, a body full of foul vomitus and acidic odor. More or less crying while vomiting on the way back.
Wu SheYue is still in the mourning hall keeping vigil, she uses a hand to fan the air in front of her nose.
Her surrounding once again quietens. Wu SheYue thinks about the words Wu JingHua had said, this body was treated this way before, really is disgusting. Looks like if she wants to live well using this body, there is still a tough battle ahead.
She turns her head around to look at Yin shi’s spirit tablet. 心道 look, I promised I would treat this body well.
心道 – Xin1 Dao4. I have no idea what this means please do comment if you do know what this means.
No, it’s not an illusion, she feels as if the mourning hall’s smell is dissipating.

Wu JingHua exhaustedly runs back to her own courtyard. Once she enters, a group of menservants and maidservants are not able to resist the urge to cover their nose with their hand. After seeing clearly that it is their Second Miss, they awkwardly put their hands down and suppresses their urge to breathe.
Her second-class maidservant Qing Lian runs over, crying out in alarm. “Second Miss! What happened to you?”
Qing Lian – 青莲, 青 – blue/green, 莲 – means lotus
Wu JingHua glares at her, cursing in rage. “You thought I didn’t see you cover your nose? Scram!”
Qing Lian’s footsteps stop and she awkwardly retreats. In her heart, she mumbles scram then scram, scramming is good, don’t have to smell the sour odor emitting off of your body.
“My god!” Meng yiniang hearing the screams from the courtyard was drawn out. When she saw Wu JingHua she was alarmed to the point that she turned pale.
Meng – 孟 means first month (of a season) or eldest (brother)
“Niang……” Once Wu JingHua sees her, she suddenly starts to cry and pounces at Meng shi.
Niang – 娘. Means mother, it’s how people in ancient China called their mother.
“Ah, my Second Miss!” Meng yiniang hurriedly dodges and extends a hand to prevent Wu JingHua from pouncing at her again. She loudly yells, “First take a bath ah. Qing Lian! Get water! Get water ah!”
Only when Wu JingHua was pushed into the inner chamber to take a bath does Meng yiniang, still badly shaken, calls for Chun Tao. “I ask you, from where did Second Miss return from!”
Chun Tao, with an unexplainable guilty conscience, lowers her head to answer. “Second Miss just came from seeing Third Miss in Western Courtyard’s mourning hall.”
To see Wu SheYue? Then it definitely is another courtyard’s miss who did this! “Who also came along?”
“Nubi doesn’t know, Miss did not allow nubi to follow.” Chun Tao raises her eyes to look at Meng shi and says, “Nubi feels that today, there is something wrong with Third Miss. Third Miss has also without rhyme or reason given nubi a beating.”

Fufufu, Wu SheYue’s words settle this account will foreshadow what will happen in a later chapter. That scene was so lovely especially in the manga version.
That last paragraph though, “Third Miss has also without rhyme or reason given nubi a beating”. What do you mean without rhyme or reason, I really would like to pry open that brain of her’s and see just what is stuffed inside there.
Anyways, next chapter, we see Meng shi’s reaction on Chun Tao’s last comment in this chapter and when she learns that Wu SheYue fed her daughter flies.
